ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CERTIFIED ORGANIC?

Our Warrior Blend, Sol Good Bars, Classic Plus, and Ormus Supergreens are all certified organic. We are currently in the certification process for all the products the USDA will let us certify. Plant-based minerals and purified water unfortunately do not apply, so our liquid minerals may never get the seal, but Sunwarrior is dedicated to sourcing only the best organic ingredients and certifying everything possible.

DO YOUR PRODUCTS NEED TO BE REFRIGERATED?

None of our products, except Vitamin Mineral Rush (that’s VMR for those in the know), need to be refrigerated even after opening, but keep those packages in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

WHERE DO YOUR INGREDIENTS COME FROM?

Sunwarrior seeks out the best ingredients throughout the world, from the desert farms of Arizona and Utah to the rolling fields of the Midwest to the foothills of the Himalayas. Due to climate, growing seasons, and sustainability we cannot source from only one country or region. We scrutinize and monitor the farms and facilities we work with for the highest levels of quality and control.

Sunwarrior purchases ingredients only from reputable suppliers who follow a recognized food safety protocol. The majority are also Certified Organic and Kosher, both of which require annual on-site inspections. After ingredients are received into our warehouse, they are inspected to ensure they have retained their original, sealed packaging. They are sampled in a clean room and tested by a licensed, third-party lab for pathogens and other factors before being released for use in finished products. After a master lot of finished product has been blended, samples are sent again for testing and products do not leave our control until satisfactory results are received.

HEAVY METALS IN SUNWARRIOR RICE PROTEIN

Sunwarrior protein comes entirely from organic plants grown in mineral-rich soils. This means we’re comparable to whole foods like brown rice, fruits, leafy greens, and other vegetables that naturally absorb trace metals. The closer to the soil and the more water-loving a plant, the more it takes in. Thankfully produce tests don’t get splashed across the internet as scare tactics to make money off the fears of people who just want to keep themselves and their loved ones healthy. If so, we’d all stop eating carrots, spinach, kale, rice, apples, and hundreds of other perfectly safe and beneficial foods.

We only source the finest plant-based ingredients. Our proteins are Certified Organic, Non-GMO Project Verified, and consistently test below EU, WHO, and FDA safety standards. We’re also Prop65 compliant, which is the strictest standard and nearly impossible for plant-based sources to meet. We test internally and through an independent lab for more than is required. We then quickly refuse ingredients that don’t meet our strict levels of quality, because we take immense pride in knowing, thoroughly vetting, and loving our ingredients before we pass them on to you.

We believe in food as close to nature as possible, which is why when these types of reports come to light every few years, plant-based proteins fall below whey. Whey always tests better for two reasons. One, animal bodies, including our own, are very good at dealing with the trace amounts of heavy metals in the plants we eat. We filter and remove most before they have a chance to enter our systems. Two, whey is highly processed, stripping out nutrition, minerals, vitamins, antioxidants, enzymes, and heavy metals all at the same time. Whole or less processed foods will always fall short when looking at barely detectable levels of these metals, but they excel when it comes to nutrition.

CAN I TAKE YOUR PRODUCTS WHEN PREGNANT OR NURSING?

You should always consult a health care professional before beginning any new supplements, especially while pregnant or nursing. This applies to even the best plant-based superfoods. All the ingredients in Sunwarrior products are considered safe in the amounts found in foods. Always use supplements in moderation and follow suggested use on the labels.

CAN I GIVE YOUR PRODUCTS TO MY CHILD?

It is always important to discuss diet changes and supplementation with your health care professional, especially when it comes to your children. Children under the age of two years should not be given our products. They may be safe to use in moderation for children older than two.

We ship at the low cost of $5.95 for any orders under $50, but there are ways to get free shipping. Orders $50 or more are automatically made free. You’re welcome. Free shipping typically takes 5 to 7 business days to reach you. Expedited shipping typically takes 2 to 4 business days to arrive at your door. Any orders with merchandise (hats, t-shirts, blender bottles, pants, etc.) may take longer.

We automatically upgrade all orders that exceed 9 lbs or $175 to expedited shipping at no extra charge to you. Most orders are shipped out on the next business day. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CLASSIC PROTEIN, WARRIOR BLEND, AND CLASSIC PLUS?

All these products supply plant-based protein, taste great, and tend to be more gentle on the digestive system than whey or soy. Classic Protein is made from fermented brown rice. This simple formula is suggested for those with food allergies and our more granola customers.

Warrior Blend is a synergistic combination of pea, goji berry, and hemp proteins with the bonus of medium chain triglycerides from coconut. Warrior Blend has a slightly better amino acid profile and includes the anti-inflammatory power of coconut to speed recovery.

Classic Plus relies on brown rice, pea, quinoa, chia, and amaranth for ancient grain goodness without the gluten or carbs. It has a similar amino acid profile to Warrior Blend, but a slightly different texture and flavor. All are highly effective sources of protein, so it really comes down to personal preferences. DO ORMUS SUPERGREENS SUPPLY ALL THE VEGETABLES I NEED?

No, they supplement your consumption of vegetables, but they do not replace all the crunchy goodness of the vegetables that should be in your diet.

DID THE FLAVOR CHANGE?

We have strict guidelines for the ingredients we include in our products. Because they are plant-based, there may be slight flavor differences in the main ingredients (example: pea protein). We test each ingredient to meet our high standards, however we don't change our flavor formula from batch to batch to compensate for slight differences. If they ingredients don't meet our specifications, including taste, we don't release the product for purchase.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN LIQUID LIGHT, IMMUNE SHIELD, AND VITAMIN MINERAL RUSH?

Liquid Light is a plant-based fulvic acid mineral complex created by nature and cold process extracted into a liquid solution.

Immune Shield is a natural fulvic acid mineral complex fortified with silver ions. The silver ions are complexed inside the fulvic acid molecule for maximum protection and performance.

Vitamin Mineral Rush is a combination of minerals, fulvic acid, and plant-based vitamins. This is a great multivitamin for those who do not like pills or capsules, and it tastes like sweet tea.

IS THERE CAFFEINE IN YOUR PRODUCTS?

None of our products contain caffeine. The tea leaf extract we use in Warrior Blend is herbal only.

CAN PRODUCT BE USED AFTER EXPIRATION DATE?

Supplements begin to lose potency after the expiration date. They are usually safe to consume for some time after the expiration date, but use caution and know you are not getting the full potency. If any product begins to smell off or show any signs of spoilage, they should be discarded immediately, regardless of the expiration date. Follow guidelines for storage and the product may last longer.

WHY ARE MY BARS OILY?

Cashew butter is the base of our Sol Good bars. Just like your favorite natural peanut butter and other nut butters, cashew butter will begin to separate after production and more so if exposed to heat. We are working to minimize this where we can without compromising Sunwarrior’s standards to offer our customers clean, natural, plant-based products. Although it is not required, some have found that keeping the bars refrigerated helps minimize the oil separation.
